Team Development

Mastering motivation

Pay someone a bonus or buy them tickets to the rugby and you will find that the motivational effect lasts about 3 days. Not a great return for your investment. Managers need to know how each person in their team is motivated so they can tap into this vast reserve of energy and potential. In Mastering Motivation your team will discover the psychology behind individual motivators and learn the techniques to build an energised team. The time spent on pure theory is brief. This workshop is about experimentation, self-discovery, and challenging discussion. The session includes a fascinating case study from Supers Rugby that will test your team’s ability to come up with novel approaches to motivating self and others.

Duration: 2 hours with optional 3rd hour coaching scenario for managers/leaders.
Price: AUD4,500 including materials for up to 25 participants

Coaching for performance

Coaching in the workplace enhances job performance, increases job satisfaction and is a key driver of employee engagement (Blessing White, 2006). Other studies have shown that coaching reduces retention risk and increases productivity (IPMA, 2001). Smart companies ensure their managers know how to coach, and ensure their staff know how to be coached. Coaching for Performance is a comprehensive workshop that introduces Whitmore’s GROW coaching model while providing a safe forum to practice, observe and learn about coaching in a highly experiential way. Attempt business coaching scenarios, critique video footage of coaching conversations, and play forward your own personal coaching challenge. Workshop options include the use of video analysis and executive coaches for scenario practice.

Duration: Half or full day options
Price: AUD4,500 including materials for up to 25 participants (half day), AUD5,700 (full day)
